What are your favorite waters?

– For a long time I called Lake Constance my home water, but now it’s the many quarry lakes along the Rhine Valley. More and more I am attracted by the partly undeveloped side arms of the Rhine!

What products should never be missing from your fishing?

– Definitely boilie dough! Whether kneaded around the lead or the hook bait or just for feeding: dough goes ALWAYS!
With P.R. Baits, I appreciate the different dough colors that I like to experiment with.

Domestic or abroad?
– I would say 50/50. In the last few years I have been around France a lot and was able to look at a lot of waters and of course fish them. As a result, I’m drawn there more and more regularly.
If you had to choose one rig – which would it be?
– A combination of Choddy hook and Kamo leader. You only need four components and you’re good to go – my all-time favorite!
What exactly makes carp fishing so special for you?
– No matter how much experience you have built up over the years, how many nights you have been on the water or how many fish you have caught: In the end, things always turn out differently than you think – and that’s a good thing!
Social media

I worked for four years in the Carpzilla editorial department and was also regularly in contact with the products through the cooperation with P.R. Baits. Right from the start I was impressed by Philipp’s professionalism. This is reflected in its store portfolio, but of course also in its production line. I think you won’t find a more modern machine park among the bait companies in Germany. Clearly, this also benefits the baits. I’m looking forward to going full throttle with P.R.
